BILGEWATER is a Bali single-origin medium-dark roast coffee built for depth, weight, and intensity, designed for people who want a strong cup without harsh bitterness. Unlike many dark-leaning coffees that taste ashy or flat, BILGEWATER is roasted to preserve balance, letting the natural character of Bali coffee come through.
BILGEWATER is sourced from the Kintamani highlands of Bali — small family farms growing coffee in volcanic soil alongside citrus trees on the slopes of Mount Agung. The beans get their signature bluish hue from wet-hulling (Giling Basah), a traditional Indonesian process that creates the heavier body and earthy depth this region is known for. If you want strength from depth, not burn, start here.
